Go Cable Ties Blogger Christmas DIY Challenge: The Staircase Wreath

Recently we were contacted by the lovely people at Go Cable Ties who asked if we would like to take part in the ‘Blogger Christmas DIY Challenge’ that they are running and we of course said yes.

We were given the option of a few different Christmas decorations that we could make and we decided to make a Staircase Wreath. Go Cable Ties sent us everything we needed to make this, including the garland, decorations, lights and of course the cable ties to attach the decoration to the staircase.

As we live in a ground floor flat we decided to place the staircase wreath in the communal hallway so our neighbours and therefore placed in on the banister there and it looks good.

The garland has been decorated with pine cones and berries that we had sent and also some silver leaves  that we purchase from a local garden centre. To finish the garland off we added some white berry lights that added a nice glow to it.
