  1. Hello. I’m new to following your blog 🙂 I recently experienced sudden hearing loss in my left ear, which has resulted in me being deaf in this ear (I have severe hearing loss). A big problem i am experiencing is hearing in background noise. I really like the poster. For me it is important that the person who is speaking to me has my attention first – otherwise i might not realize they are speaking to ‘me’. Also, choosing a place with little or no background noise is so helpful for me, as i am able to focus better on what is being said. A great poster to help deaf awareness 🙂 Take care. Carly.
